Cassette Tape Art

Stumbeld across these pictures on flickr.  'Ghost in the Machine' is a series of artwork by Flickr user iri5 that uses old cassette tapes (or film) to create the likenesses of famous musicians/actors. Don't know how he gets it done, but its  pretty clever.

New blog, and my first post. Thought I would show you my first attempt at a typo picture, and at the same time displey some quite amazing typographical works of art.

I wonder how they do it.., have you tried? I can speak from personal experiense when i say that it is not easy.

Here is my first try.

Picture's not the best quality, but you get the idea. Here I have used the word flower in norwegian -BLOMST- as tools for the construction, so everyting you see is letters in different sizes.
